PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain device for the roof of a gate not exposed to the appearance of the gate. SOLUTION: In this gate with a roof, an end rail is installed around the roof, and a rain gutter is installed inside the end rail. A gradient is so provided to the rain gutter within the range of the height of the end rail that the corner part of the rain gutter present on one of two diagonals of the roof of rectangular shape in plan view is lower than that present on the other diagonal. One end of a horizontal gutter is connected to a rainwater discharge hole formed at the corner part of the rain gutter present on one diagonal. The horizontal gutter is extended in the space between the upper surface plate and the underface of the plate, and the other end communicates with the vertical gutter installed in a gate post.
