PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing device, capable of providing a sheet bundle of favorable appearance without distortion or wrinkles at and around a stitching part by putting a roller member to get in contact with the sheet bundle for assisting carrying force to it at a position where the sheet bundle is held on both sides in such a way that a stitching part of it stitched by staples or the like is avoided. SOLUTION: The sheet bundle St as a bundle of sheets stacked are then stitched by the staples 352 with a saddle stitching stapler. Carrying assisting rollers 310 are put to get in contact with the surfaces of the sheet bundle St on both sides of it to avoid the staples 32 at the stitching part for assisting carrying force to it. Unnecessary carrying force to the stitching part due to the staples 352 is thus prevented, and the stitching part is prevented from being pushed and widened, or wrinkles are not formed around the stitching part, thereby the sheet bundle St with favorable appearance can be provided.
