PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper box which can be locked on a standing face such as a wall face, and is surely fitted on the standing face only by inserting it to a hanging tool provided on the standing face such as the wall face. SOLUTION: The paper box with a rectangular parallelepiped shape which stores a sheet-like content under a superimposed condition, and is provided with a taking-out opening forming means for forming a taking-out opening for taking out the content by a necessary number of sheets on one face, is characterized in that at least a locking means for forming a hole for locking the paper box on the standing face, is provided on respective faces on a counter face at a position facing one face and a continuously contacting face continuously coming into contact with the counter face through a bent ruled line.
