<p>Various embodiments of the present invention provide a securing unit for holding and securing a marker in close proximity to an end section of a conduit. The securing unit is capable of holding a marker inside a conduit, in close proximity to the end section of the conduit. The securing unit holds and secures a marker in the end section of the conduit which may be in any orientation with respect to a horizontal or vertical plane. An end cap may be used for sealing the end section of the conduit and restricting the movement of the securing unit.</p>
