Disclosed is a polymer PTC device comprising a polymer PTC element having a lower resistance. Specifically disclosed is a method for manufacturing a PTC device which comprises a PTC element (102) having a polymer PTC member (110) and metal electrodes (104) arranged on both sides of the polymer PTC member (110), and a lead (106) electrically connected to at least one of the metal electrodes. This method for manufacturing a PTC device is characterized in that the polymer PTC member is made of a conductive polymer composition containing a polymer material and a conductive filler dispersed therein, and connection of the lead to the metal electrode is carried out at a temperature lower than the melting point of the polymer material. |
