<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer sheet capable of transferring a pattern and the like having a unique metallic feel on cloth and the like, which sheet is used for the transfer method in which a pattern and the like printed on a transfer sheet by using an inkjet printer or a color copier is half-cut along its border line to remove unnecessary parts, then to remove/receive the pattern or the like using a retack film, and is hot pressed on cloth and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer sheet keeps an adhesive layer (A), a barrier layer (B), a metal vapor deposition layer (C) and a transparent ink-absorbing layer (D) overlying in this order a substrate whose upper surface is treated with a release agent as occasion demands.
