<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect inconsistency between a place of origin and the actual place of origin, before a commodity label is issued and attached, thereby preventing improper indication. <P>SOLUTION: A case code is read which is attached to a case that encloses an article serving as a commodity. Based on a commodity label attached to the case, the name of the commodity is accepted and commodity information is obtained from a commodity master server 10. The name of the commodity accepted and inputted is compared with the name of the commodity included in the commodity information obtained from the commodity master server 10 to determine whether or not they match; if they do not match, the result is reported; if they match, a commodity label showing the corresponding name of the commodity and a commodity identification code for uniquely specifying the commodity is attached to the package of the commodity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
