<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily check the result of display of identification information related to whether a game value should be granted or not in a designing stage, and to diversify the result of display of the identification information. <P>SOLUTION: A special symbol variable display device 60 for variably displaying special symbols and an ornament symbol variable display device 1 for variably displaying ornament symbols are mounted on a play area 13 in the game machine. The total number of combinations of results of display in the ornament symbol variable display device 1 is larger than that in the special symbol variable display device 60. The control is executed for making the result of display of ornament symbols in the ornament symbol variable display device 1 change into the result of display corresponding to the result of display of special symbols in the special symbol variable display device 60.
