<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of easily attaching/detaching an image forming structures to/from an image forming apparatus main body. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 10 includes: the image forming apparatus main body 12 provided with a front opening/closing cover 15; a plurality of image forming structures 22 having corresponding photoreceptors 20; and a moving mechanism 74 for moving the plurality of image forming structures 22 between the first position where the image forming structures 22 are disposed so that at least parts of them are superposed in the attached or detached direction of them and the second position where the parts of them are not superposed in the attached or detached direction of them. The moving mechanism 74 moves the image forming structures 22 to the second position and first position in synchronization with the opening and closing, respectively, of the front opening/closing cover 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
