<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible display device which can prevent the surface of the light-emitting surface side from being damaged by the contact between the surface of the light-emitting surface side and the surface of the back surface side and can be housed in a comfortable and compact manner, when winding and housing the flexible display device in a free size. <P>SOLUTION: The flexible display device has a light-emitting element, formed on a flexible base and can be wound, such that the surface of the light-emitting surface side is brought into contact with the surface of the back surface side upon the housing, wherein the hardness of the surface of the light-emitting surface side is larger than the hardness of the surface of the back surface side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
