PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission belt containing a compound providing improved characteristics in regard to belt elongation, interlining, abrasion, and durability. SOLUTION: A belt (10) has a compression section (16), a tension section (12), and a load carrying section (14) disposed between the compression section (16) and the tension section (12). The belt has an elastomeric/thermoplastic material, and the elastomeric/thermoplastic material has 50 to 90% of an elastomer and 10 to 50% of thermoplastic. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
