PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control system enabling efficient evacuation from a fire by using an elevator when a fire breaks out. SOLUTION: An evacuation support device 8 monitors existence of users in elevator landings of stories except the story aimed at rescue, and when a user is detected in the elevator landings of stories except the story aimed at rescue, a method of evacuation is informed to the user by using a landing display 3 or an emergency broadcasting device 6. Thereafter, the evacuation support device 8 monitors existence of users in elevator landings after ending the operation for evacuation, and when a user is detected in the elevator landings after ending the operation for evacuation, the evacuation support device 8 starts the operation for evacuation again.
