PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating device simplifying end support structure of an engagement type turning belt, and making the structure compact. SOLUTION: An end of an upper extension side part guided to be extended upward by a lower part rotation guide body in the engagement type turning belt 15 is connected to a mounting body 32 urged and moved toward an upper side with respect to an elevating body 11 by a compression spring 31, and an upper movement detection means 48 detecting the movement of the mounting body 32 on the upper side with respect to the elevating body 11.
