PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel consumption information display system capable of sharing the software on a display control unit side for controlling the display related to the fuel consumption to engines of different kinds. SOLUTION: The fuel consumption information display system comprises a display device 50 for displaying fuel consumption-related information related to the fuel consumption of an engine 1, an engine ECU 30 which outputs the fuel injection signal Pa for controlling the fuel injection in the engine 1, and generates injection control information for indicating the equivalent value of the fuel injection corresponding thereto, and a meter ECU 51 for controlling the display of fuel consumption-related information in the display device 50 based on injection control information from the engine ECU 30. The engine ECU 30 generates the consumption information signal Finj indicating the fuel consumption based on injection control information and outputs it to the meter ECU 51 when the unit of the equivalent value of the fuel injection is different from the unit of the fuel consumption in the engine 1.
