PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable steering angle ratio steering device miniaturized in the axial direction of a steering shaft. SOLUTION: An input shaft 2 and an output shaft 3 are arranged in the same straight line shape. First bevel gears 11 and 12 are respective fixed to the input shaft 2 and the output shaft 3. Both end parts of a center shaft 6 are rotatably inserted into shaft holes 2a and 3a formed in respective opposed end parts of the input shaft 2 and the output shaft 3 via a first radial bearing 5a constituting a first berating 5. The center shaft 6 is integrally joined to a differential case 4 via a support shaft 7. A second bevel gear 13 meshing with both the first bevel gears 11 and 12 is arranged on the support shaft 7. A housing 17 is arranged in the differential case 4 via a second bearing. A first thrust bearing 5b constituting the first bearing is arranged between both end side surface parts 17c and 17d of the housing 17 and the first bevel gears 11 and 12. A worm wheel 9 is integrally joined to the outside of the differential case 4. A motor 19 having a worm 21 meshing with the worm wheel 9 is arranged in the housing 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
