COMPOSITION COMPRISING HYDROGEN-ABSORBING ALLOY AND RESIN
摘要
Disclosed is a resin composition comprising a resin and a hydrogen-absorbing alloy powder, wherein the resin can be incorporated homogenously even when the hydrogen-absorbing alloy powder is filled in a large quantity per unit volume, and wherein the stress applied on the wall of a hydrogen storage container can be reduced satisfactorily while keeping a high hydrogen storage capacity. Specifically disclosed is a resin composition (C) comprising a resin (A) and a hydrogen-absorbing alloy powder (B). A hydrogen storage container (E) can be produced by filling the resin composition (C) in a container (D) in such a manner that the ratio of the volume (V2) of the hydrogen-adsorbing alloy powder (B) to the inner volume (V1) of the container (D) (i.e., a (V2)/(V1) ratio) becomes 40 to 80 Vol%. When hydrogen gas is absorbed in and released into the hydrogen storage container (E), the strain (a) produced on the surface of the wall of the hydrogen storage container (E) becomes 1000 x 10-6 or less.
