GABA NEURON PROGENITOR CELL MARKER 65B13

摘要

In the spinal dorsal horn and the cerebellum, a selective marker gene 65B13 for a GABA neuron precursor cell can be identified, and a GABA neuron precursor cell can be isolated by using an antibody capable of binding to a protein encoded by the gene. It is found that 65B13 is useful as a marker for isolating a GABA-producing neuron precursor cell in the spinal dorsal horn or the cerebellum. By employing the identified marker as an indicator, a GABA neuron precursor cell can be identified or isolated efficiently.
