<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user that remote setups cannot be done. <P>SOLUTION: A determination part CP5 determines that all items requiring setup changes can be changed in setups by referring to a printer DB. When all the items requiring setup changes can be changed in setups, a print data transmission part CP6 transmits print data PD to a printer 30 noting that there should be no problem.
