<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liver triglyceride concentration-lowering agent, a new medicine effective for fatty liver and a method for using those. <P>SOLUTION: The medicine contains a fish oil. Increase of liver triglyceride concentration derived by ingestion of carbohydrate is lowered or diseases caused by increase of liver triglyceride concentration derived by ingestion of carbohydrate are prevented or treated by administering the medicine containing the fish oil to human or vertebrate excluding human, wherein the diseases caused by increase of liver triglyceride concentration include fatty liver, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, metabolic disturbance-induced hepatopathy, cirrhosis and hepatic fibrosis.
