<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bit map display controller to reduce electric power consumption and display BMP data. <P>SOLUTION: In the display controller 21, a buffer 3 for BMP buffers the BMP data via a bus 26 from an external SDRAM 2 and outputs the data as the external BMP data D2 to a selector 8 in a switching circuit 31. Further, a buffer 3 for BMP transfers the data as external BMP data D2i for internal transfer to a BMPRAM 7 in the switching circuit 31. The BMPRAM 7 stores the external BMP data D2i for internal transfer and outputs the stored data as internal BMP D3 to a selector 8. The selector 8 outputs either the internal BMP D3 or the external BMP data D2 as selected BMP data D21 according to a selector signal SC1 from the CPU 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
