<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus in which radio communication is controlled properly depending on internal power supply, using a battery or external power supply from an external information device to suppress power consumption of a built-in battery, and to provide a control method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication apparatus executes radio communications, in such a way that the presence or the absence of external power supply is detected, at least the number of selectable modulation multivalues is limited or transmission output is limited in the internal power supply, based on the built-in battery 56 without external power supply; at least the number of selectable multi-values is further being limited and the transmission power is limited or the number of multi-channel aggregations is limited, when the number of multi-channel aggregations can be adjusted in application; and radio communications are executed, while releasing limitation because of the internal power supply when the external power supply exists. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
