<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake damage estimation device, method and program, capable of easily and precisely predicting a business interruption period, without requiring an expert knowledge as to restoration work. <P>SOLUTION: The device derives the business interruption period due to an earthquake damage of a building, by a CPU 22, assuming that a business is continued when a loss factor indicating a ratio of a restoration cost to a replacement value of the building is a prescribed rate or less, and assuming that the business is reopened at the time when the loss factor comes to the prescribed rate according to a progress of the restoration work for the building, when the loss factor exceeds the prescribed rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
