<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-shielding member having two or more functions, a line head in which the light-shielding member is used for forming superior spots, and an image forming apparatus in which the line head is used and the image quality of which deteriorates less. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide pore 2971 of the light-shielding member 297 to be arranged between a light emitting element group 295 and a microlens ML has different cross-sectional areas S1, S2, S3. The cross-sectional area S2 of the middle position is made smaller than the cross-sectional area S1 on the side of the light-emitting element group 295 and the cross-sectional area S3 on the side of an imaging lens. Thus, even if an optical system including the light-emitting element group 295 and the microlens ML constitutes a reduced optical system, the light-shielding member 297 having two or more functions, corresponding to different cross-sectional areas in portions where the cross-sectional areas of the light guide pore 2971 are S1, S2 and S3 can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
