PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust-collecting method and a dust-collecting apparatus wherein gases and dusts leaked from the spaces of seal portions between the door and the door frame of a coke oven carbonization outlet can efficiently be recovered with a simple installation without invading in the region of a movable portion. SOLUTION: The dust-collecting method and the dust-collecting apparatus each for collecting gases and dusts leaked from spaces between the door 13 and the door frame 14 of the coke oven outlet is characterized by disposing a dust-collecting hood 22 above the door, disposing nozzles 18 for forming gas-rising flows at places close to the door and the door frame, forming the rising flows with gases blew out from the nozzles, and guiding the gases and the dusts leaked from the spaces between the door and the door frame to the dust-collecting hood with the rising flows.
