PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable power tool furnished with a housing lightweight and excellent in dropping resistance strength. SOLUTION: A thin part 20 is formed on an intermediate part in the longitudinal direction of a grip part outline 5G. Consequently, the elasticity of the grip part outline 5G increases by the thin part 20, and it is possible to increase the absorptivity of impact energy applied from outside by the deformation of the grip part outline 5G.
