PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence which is good in workability, low in cost, and good in appearance. SOLUTION: In erection of the fence, lattice mounting members 6 are fixed to mutually opposed side surfaces of mutually adjacent supports 2 out of a plurality of supports 2 erected on an installation surface 1, and lattice mounting portions 6b forming the same surface on a front side of the mutually adjacent supports 2, are formed by bending the lattice mounting members 6. Then horizontal lattices 3 are fixed to the lattice mounting portions 6b at predetermined intervals by mounting screws 16, and blocking members 17 are attached to the lattice mounting members 6 so as to block heads of the mounting screws 16, respectively. Preferably, horizontal notches 11 are formed in each lattice mounting member 6 at locations corresponding to the horizontal lattices 3, and the horizontal lattices 3 are fixed by the mounting screws 16 inserted via the notches 11.
