PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate device, protecting dwellers and visitors outside a side gate from vehicles running on a road, a strong rain and window and snowfall, completing installation of gate peripheral goods only by installing the gate device and allowing concentration of the gate peripheral goods. SOLUTION: This gate device includes a vehicle gate having double-hinged gates D1, D2 provided between an intermediate gatepost P3 and a first gatepost P1 and the side gate having a wing gate D3 provided between the intermediate gatepost and a second gatepost P1, wherein the depth of the intermediate gatepost is made larger to provide the vehicle gate near the road side end part of the intermediate gatepost, and the side gate is provided near the house side end of the intermediate gatepost to set back the side gate from the road side, thereby forming a void space S in front of the side gate on the road side of the side gate. The part of the intermediate gatepost facing the void space in front of the side gate is provided with a throw-in port 11 of a mailbox, an intercom 12 and an electric lock operating part 13.
