O/W-EMULSIFIER O/W-EMULSIONS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF

O/W-emulsifiers are disclosed, comprising (a) 30 - 50 wt. % hardened palm oil glycerides, (b) 15 - 35 wt. % potassium cetyl phosphate, (c) 20 - 30 wt. % cetyl alcohol, and (d) 5 - 15 wt. % potassium phosphate, all related to the total weight of the emulsifier. Further disclosed are corresponding O/W emulsions, comprising an aqueous phase, an oil phase, dispersed in the aqueous phase and 0.25 - 15 wt. % of the above O/W emulsifier. A method for production of such an O/W emulsion is also disclosed.
