<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin a light emitting device compared to a conventional case even if the device has a structure for preventing light leakage, and to effectively prevent the deterioration of luminous flux. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device is provide with a light emitting element 51, a sealing resin 53 of optical transparency in which a wavelength conversion material arranged to cover the light emitting element 51 is mixed, and a reflecting film 54 installed at least on the upper face and/or the base of sealing resin 53. The reflecting film 54 is a white painted film whose white pigment concentration is 23 wt.% to 54 wt.%, and a film thickness is 14 μm to 50 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
