PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing apparatus of received sound to output easy-to-listen sounds, regardless of the frequency characteristics of the received sounds. SOLUTION: The reproducing apparatus of received sound has a characteristic acquiring means for acquiring a first frequency characteristic which is the frequency characteristic obtained by decomposing a digital sound signal, based on a received sound signal each prescribed frequency band; a setting means for setting a value of a second frequency characteristic which is the frequency characteristic each prescribed frequency band; an operation means for calculating the gain each frequency band, based on the difference between the value of the first frequency characteristic and the value of the second frequency characteristic; and a characteristic changing means for changing the frequency characteristic of the digital sound signal, by multiplying the digital sound signal by the gain that corresponds to each frequency band of the digital sound signal.
