PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of preventing stored objects from being dried, and easily storing various kinds of stored objects at optimum temperatures. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises a vegetable compartment 12 constituted by longitudinally arranging a plurality of storage cases 54a-54d for storing the stored objects, a discharge opening 16a for discharging the cold air from a rear upper part of the vegetable compartment 12, a return opening 19a for allowing the cold air to flow out from a rear lower part of the vegetable compartment 12, and projecting portions 101, 102, 103 projecting from a back wall 100 of the vegetable compartment 12 in opposition to back surfaces of the storage cases 54a-54c.
