PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine equipped with fuel reformer which allows the determination of a kind of fuel in a fuel tank. SOLUTION: The fuel property determining device senses a reformed state in a fuel reformer of the fuel supplied thereto from a fuel tank. In concrete, space velocity (SV) in the fuel reformer, reforming temperature and hydrogen concentration after fuel reformation are sensed.
