PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mound construction method for constructing a mound which is high in ground bearing force and water permeability, light in weight, high in durability, and formed of tire chips, wherein the mound construction method is achieved without causing density difference, and facilitates construction work while eliminating compaction by large construction equipment. SOLUTION: The mound construction method is carried out by mixing the tire chips 2 obtained by cutting and breaking waste tires into chippings or particles, and sand 5 with each other. According to the method, a tire chip storage section 1 where the tire chips 2 are stored, and a sand storage section 4 where the sand 5 is stored, are separately arranged, and the tire chips 2 and the sand 5 are filled in the construction field from the storage sections via separate pipes 3, 6, respectively.
