PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothianidin preparation exhibiting proper slow-acting property and excellent communicability of ant-killing effects. SOLUTION: The clothianidin preparation having the communicability is, for example, the one obtained by encapsulating the clothianidin in a microcapsule, wherein the thickness of the wall membrane of the microcapsule is 1.8-4μm. The clothianidin preparation having the communicability is an ant-repelling agent used for controlling white ants, and, for example, used by being scattered or injected on the surface or into the interior of soil or wood. As a result, the proper slow-acting properties of the ant-killing effects against the white ant, and the excellent communicability of the ant-killing effects against the white ants can be exhibited.
