PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resinoid composition for a casting mold, in which the content of aldehyde in the resinoid composition containing benzilic ether phenol resin or fran resin is reduced, and an odor caused by the generation of aldehyde from the casting mold can be reduced when the casting mold is made by using the resinoid composition, and further to provide the resinoid composition which can prevent the trouble in a practical use caused by the remarkable deterioration of the strength of the casting mold at a high temperature when the casting mold is made by using the resinoid composition for the casting mold, or preferably which can improve the strength of the casting mold at a high temperature. SOLUTION: The resinoid composition for the casting mold is achieved by blending one or more urea compounds selected from the group consisting of benzilic ether phenol resin or fran resin, and alkylene urea, alkyl urea, cycloalkyl urea, and aryl urea.
