PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic material made by being treated with a metal surface treatment composition which can provide a sufficient adhesiveness between a laminate film and a metal material and corrosion resistance to a metallic material to which the laminate film has adhered. SOLUTION: The metallic material is made by bringing a polyvalent metal-containing chemical conversion treatment agent into contact with the surface of the metal material to form a chemical conversion coating, and then bringing it into contact with a metal surface treatment composition containing an oxazoline group-containing resin and a primary amino group-containing resin to form a surface treatment layer.
