PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly acquire a tomographic image in an OCT (optical coherence tomography) probe used for an OCT system which calculates an OCT tomographic image near the tip part of an optical fiber inserted into a sheath whose tip is blocked by rotating the optical fiber to scan around the axis of the optical fiber. SOLUTION: The OCT probe is attached near the tip part of the optical fiber so as to be integrated with the optical fiber and has a blade for imparting driving force to the optical fiber to pull the optical fiber toward its tip direction by an action received from fluid filled in the sheath in accordance with rotation of the optical fiber.
