LINEAR MOTOR, LINEAR MOTOR TYPE GRIPPER, AND ACTUATOR

Provided are a linear motor which has reduced sizes, improved thrust and positioning accuracy and is not affected by electromagnetic noise, a linear motor type gripper using such linear motor, and an actuator using such linear motor. The linear motor is provided with a permanent magnet and one or a plurality of exciting coils. A yoke made of a magnetic material is arranged in the vicinity of the outer circumference of the exciting coils.
