<p>Method for the recycling of sludge from wastewater purifying stations. The sludge (L) is fed into an internal furnace-chamber (4) within a first furnace (1), or muffle-furnace, also provided with a jacket (5) or outer air-heated chamber. The sludge is burned in the chamber-furnace (4) until fusion of the same, thereby obtaining a vitrified material (V) which is deposited in the crucible (6) of the furnace-chamber (4) of the first furnace. The following is extracted from said furnace: vitrified material (V) to a glass fusion furnace (7); the combustion fumes (F) from the jacket (5) or outer chamber; and a tailings product (8), which contains part of the organic material which has not yet been burnt, part of the inorganic material used, heated steam and hot air with inert gases. Part of the inorganic materials (9, 10) of the tailings product is recirculated to the inner chamber of the first furnace.</p> |
