PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve the problem wherein a conventional heat resistant film capacitor can partially reduce an external generated heat effect, however, in a film capacitor used under a large ripple current, the heat generated from the capacitor itself is accumulated and results in a temperature rise thereof. SOLUTION: The capacitor includes an exterior capacitor case containing a capacitor element and a resin molded in the capacitor exterior case. At least a plane of the capacitor exterior case has a metal plate. The structure radiates a heat generated by itself, and forms a heat resistant film capacitor by mitigating heat impact from outside.
