PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer capacitor which is capable of realizing proper passage characteristics, over a wide frequency range. SOLUTION: The multilayer capacitor is made up by forming a first capacitor element which has a capacitance component C1 given by capacitance forming parts 8 and 9 confronting each other, and an inductance component L1 given by a current path formed between leaders 10 and 11; a second capacitor element, which has a capacitance component C2 given by terminal electrodes 6 and 7 facing each other, and an inductance component L2 given by a current path formed between the terminal electrodes 6 and 7; and a third capacitor element which has a capacitance component C3, given by facing of the assembly of the capacitance forming parts 8 and 9 with the terminal electrodes 6 and 7, and an inductance component L3 given by a current path formed around the capacitance forming parts 8 and 9.
