PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device for vehicle or the like, providing information on the time required for exiting from each exit when a vehicle leaves a parking lot or the like having a plurality of exits. SOLUTION: The information providing device for a vehicle, providing a vehicle occupant with information based on information sent from an information providing center performs a first operation and a second operation when the vehicle gets out to a road from a specific facility having multiple exits and located outside the road. In the first operation, the device sends vehicle-side information to the information providing center, the vehicle-side information including information on when the vehicle starts to move and exits to the road and information to determine one of the multiple exits used for the vehicle to exit to the road. In the second operation, the device receives exit status information including the time for exit at each exit, which is calculated by the information providing center based on vehicle-side information received from multiple vehicles, and the device provides the occupant with information based on the received exit status information.
