PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality of a volume data boundary and efficiency as a visualization system in visualization of the volume data. SOLUTION: In the image processing device visualizing the volume data 60, when the volume data are divided into blocks 61 and 62 with a fixed size, an area in the end of the volume data is devided into blocks 63 with a fixed size or less, while a value of the volume data boundary is employed in the outside of the volume data area.
