PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GLP-2 analog for promoting intestinal tissue growth, its therapeutical use, and related applications. SOLUTION: The human GLP-2 analog comprises at least one amino acid replacement selected from the group consisting of substitutions of (a) incorporation at position 2 and/or position 3 of a replacement amino acid making the analog resistance to cleavage by DPP-IV enzyme, (b) incorporation at position 10 of an oxidatively stable replacement amino acid, and (c) incorporation at position 20 of a replacement amino acid selected from Lys, His, and Ala.
