BIPOLAR PLATE FOR FUEL CELL

A bipolar plate for a fuel cell is provided to realize excellent resistance against binding pressure and external impacts while maintaining conductivity, and to prevent cracking or damage, thereby realizing excellent stack binding stability and durability. A bipolar plate for a fuel cell comprises 50-95 w% of expanded graphite and 5-50 wt% of a thermosetting resin, has an electrical conductivity of at least 100 S/cm, a flexural strength of 9-35 MPa and an elastic modulus of 1000-7000. The expanded graphite is obtained by expanding natural graphite classified into 30-200 mesh to 50-300 times of the original dimension. The thermosetting resin is a phenolic resin or an epoxy resin containing a curing agent.
