A lens system for super slim optical module is provided to reduce a total length thereof and to form a small-sized system by using three sheets of lenses. A lens system includes a first lens(L1), a second lens(L2), and a third lens(L3). The first lens, the second lens, and the third lens are arranged in order from a target side to an image forming side. The first lens is a meniscus lens having a positive refractive index which is convex to the target side. The second lens has a negative refractive index which is convex to an upper surface thereof. The third lens has a negative refractive index which is concave to an upper surface thereof. At least four lens surfaces of six lens surfaces of the first, second, and third lenses have aspheric shapes.
