The air intercooler has cooling medium-heat exchanger over which the charged air is guided. The cooling medium flows over an air heat exchanger and cooling takes place by the airflow. The heat exchanger is formed below an angle of 45 degrees in a pipe line. The diameter of the charged airline corresponds the height of the heat exchanger packet.
