<p>The device has a housing (1) comprising an inlet (2) and an outlet (3) for fluid e.g. gas, which flows from the inlet in a longitudinal direction of the housing to the outlet. A set of heat exchanging elements is arranged adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction of the housing, where a cooling medium e.g. water vapor, flows through the heat exchanging elements. The elements are partially formed as spiral tubes (4), and windings of the spiral tubes are arranged in a plane.
