A linear vibrator is provided to reduce a noise and prevent products from being damaged by inserting and supporting a vibration unit to a supporting axis which is supported by an upper plate and a lower plate. A linear vibrator includes a case(110), a supporting axis(120), a coil(130), at least one spring(140), and a vibration unit(150). An upper side and a lower side of the supporting axis are fixed on an upper plate and a lower plate of the case. The coil is installed inside the case, and is coupled to an external power. The spring is fixed on an inner place of the case. The vibration unit is inserted into the supporting axis, and is supported by the spring. The vibration unit vibrates along the supporting axis upwardly or downwardly by an elastic force of the spring and an effective work of the coil. The upper side and the lower side are inserted into supporting tubes which are formed on the upper plate and the lower plate of the case.
