Locking mechanism for a vehicle superstructure

The arrangement has a roof frame supported by vertical stakes (2) that are designed tiltably outward, where the stakes are lockable against a load area (1) at lower ends. Shell plates (3) are arranged between the stakes, where the shell plates are linked to hinges that are arranged in a height of the load area. A plate (11) surmounts a width (B1) of the stakes, where the plate is arranged at a rear side of the stakes and is articulately supported against the load area. A support bearing is arranged at a lower edge of the plate.
